I first learned about the Beauty of a woman from my Mother.
I saw that beauty when she put me to bed at night with a hug and a kiss, and woke me up in the morning the same way,and yet again when I left for school, and when I came home.I saw the Beauty of a woman in the house my mother kept as neat as a "pin".In the clothes she made for us by her own hands, and then kept spotless.I saw the beauty of a woman in the food my mother prepared for our family day in and day out.Real "Home Made"meals, all with the same special recipe."A pinch of LOVE"!I saw the beauty of a woman when she gave us kids the chicken breast, when I knew that was her favorite part.I saw the beauty of a woman in all the personal sacrifices my mother made so that the rest of us could have more.I saw the beauty of a woman everytime there was a death in our little town and my mother would cook hams, turkeys, cakes and pies to take to the home of grieving family.I saw the beauty of a woman in my mother who never came to the dinner table without putting on her "Face",as she called make-up, and a fresh dress.I saw the beauty of a woman in my mother when she gave three kids a bath, put on their "PJs",and read them at least two "bedtime stoties" before lights out at 8:30 pm!I saw the beaty of a woman who sang in the Church Choir, took us to "Sunday School",and then made me sit through the "ENTIRE" Church Service!I saw the beauty of a woman who not only did all this for her family, but was a Writer, and a Painter, and never failed to make my Father happy and proud of his beautiful Partner!I saw the beauty of a woman who "Togehter" with her husband raised two wonderful daughters, and one "Strange" son before she passed on.Well,"2 out of 3 ain't bad" as the song goes! Now I am truely blessed to see the beauty of all woman in my two sisters, and in my Mother-in-law,and "Great Mother-in-law"as they continue the "Tradition" of "Doing" for their families and being "BEAUTIFUL" at the same time.TOM
