Playa Grande Weather

I am trying to find out what kind of weather is forecast (typical)for the last 2 wks in August for the Playa Grande area. I stayed at the Allegro Resort there 5 yrs ago and apart from one or two heavy showers and thunderstorms, the majority of the time it was unbroken sunshine. Was this typical for this time of year?

Checking weather forecasts on the web can give conflicting results.

Of course we are expecting our first winter freeze in September. Sleet, hail, and lots of snow...

No, that is for Canada, not here....we are like Snoopy, hopping along and enjoying our days of sun....

Not to worry, friend, this place is the best...

I will not bother packing my waterproofs but will probably bring the golf umbrella just in case.

Stayed at the CV playa grande in Aug 1997, got married then so not much time for golf! Been married 5yrs so plenty time for golf now. Just got a bit concerned when i checked the weather.com forecast. An awful lot of thunder clouds!!

I remember it rained for about 1hr most days then took about 10mins to dry completely!!
