The Codetel yellow pages
is the worst phone book in the world. If you want to be misled and screwed all you have to do is let your fingers do the walking.
Most of the numbers published in the phone book are erroneous or changed. By the time the book is published many numbers have been changed.
This is a trick used by Codetel to force people to use "information" 1411 number and reap huge benefits from callers.
let me give you an example. If you call for instance "Son Taxi" a taxi company in Santo Domingo which lists about 10 numbers, none of them are functional. Or try calling any number in the government agencies listings. You will never reach anybody.
This is the greatest rip off in print. Customers pay huge amounts to have their listings printed only to have their numbers changed.
