I am planning to go to DR in February 2003. I would like to see the carnival, especially the one in La Vega. Does anyone know the aprox. date for this carnival?
Carnival in the DR goes on for the entire month of February, but only on Sundays. So if you schedule a trip to La Vega on a Sunday during February you will catch the famous Carnaval Vegano. Bring plenty of film and stay away from los diablos!! ;-)
