We are staying at the Coconut Palms Resort in February and are wondering what we should see and do with our kids, ages 6 and 10. Also if there is something/someplace we should stay away from. Thanks for any suggestions.

What you can do with your kids :

AquaParque Waterslide Park just outside of Sosua.

Go-Karting in Puerto PLata

Whale watching in Samana

The resort where you are staying no doubt have children's activities and more suggestions of what you can do!

The ride up the mountain in Puerto Plata and a walk through the park on top would also be much enjoyed by the entire family.

Coconut Palms has absolutely no activity staff,you will need to find things to keep your kids busy off the resort or they will be bored to tears,dont worry kids usually love the beach if not jeep safaris or other tours will be available
