Just wanted to thank you two for directing us to Artenesia Rattan. Got exactly what we wanted for a decent price and all will be delivered in about another 3 weeks. The whole ordeal only took us about 3 hours to select what we wanted, pick out some fabric (pretty good choices to choose from including some nice chenille prints/fabrics) and finalize a price. Yipee!

Glad it went well, marina. They are very good people to deal with. And they stand behind their products, guaranteeing them against damage by the insects that attack that sort of furniture. As they probably told you, before delivered all of their products spend time in a poison gas chamber to kill any insects that might be in the wood. But problems can occur. After we had one of our beds for 6 months or so, we noticed a little pile of sawdust--a sign that bugs were in the wood. We called Artenesia Rattan which sent the truck to our apartment in Sosua to pick up the bed and take it to the fabric for another gassing, then returned it to us. Even if this had occured five years after we got the furniture they would have done the same.

I think aI told you that we still have the first furniture we ever purchased from them..Way over 30 years ago...The Sang Ben family have done well with that place, respecting the style of their dad and that is why they are so good.
