I have read a little about golf in DR. Has anyone golfed at the new Guavaberry Golf Course. I am trying to get prices, are tee times readily available and what hotel would it be closet to. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Guavaberry Golf Course
It's closest to Talanquera....haven't a clue as to what prices are as I haven't been yet. I have heard that it's not as good a course as the one at Metro Golf & Country club (maybe just because Guavaberry has just been opened while Metro is a more "mature" club that has just "reworked" their course). I'm looking forward to playing both in Jan once I get back to my winter home!

Expensive golfing
I haven't been to this golf course, so I can't say how it is,
but it seems very expensive. I'd be interested to see
the houses they have on sale - they start at $325,000 us.
The golf is $120us for 18 holes..... seems expensive to me.
