I'm going to be in the D.R. for the Pan Am Games in August. I've never visited before and I was looking for any information you might have on restaurants, nightlife, etc. in Santo Domingo.

The reason I ask is that the marketing for the Panam Games has been very low key and I'm curious if you was marketed to directly and how?

I'm coming as a spectator. I've always wanted to visit the DR too so I figured this would be a good opportunity to see the country and take in the Pan Ams at the same time.
