DR South Coast reunion, anyone?

Here's the deal:

I am arriving at SDQ on Thursday, February 13 around 2:30 p.m.

Staying just one night at the Intercontinental...

Taking a bus to POP on Friday morning to spend the weekend at the Riu Bachata, and returning to Miami from POP on Monday the 17th...

Maybe, on Saturday...I'll take a day trip to Santiago to meet the rest of the people...

Anybody willing and able to meet me at the hotel that one night in SDQ?

Please let me know to plan accordingly, if not...I'll just fly into POP directly...;)

If we do meet, I need people to take me to the best club in town...I want to dance the night away!!!

We can meet at the hotel, have a couple of beers, or something (I don't drink, remember!) and talk a lot...then head off into the beautiful dominican night of fun!!!!

How about it: Jan, Robert, Pib, CrissC, Golo and the rest of the gang?

Also: AZB, Hillbilly, and whoever else that lives in the North Coast?

I already have a yes from Timex and wife...

I am soooo anxious to get there...even though it's still not my "staying" trip...just a small dose of DR to get by...I'm feeling withdrawal symptoms...:mad:

Oh, Criss...don't worry...we'll meet around 6:00 so you can be in bed early, and home before midnight!!! Did I get it, or what?

I'm bringing my camera, don't worry...I want to document the whole weekend!!!

Althought at best I can only be considered as part of a "clique of two" here on DR1, I'd be more than amiable to meeting you, Jan, Criss, and anyone else that pops up on the 13th.

As for the dancing part, although I believe I'm still somewhat of a pup compared to Cris, I'm afraid the only way I'd go is kicking, screaming, and dragged behind steam-roller. I have long ago put my Saturday Night Fever gear to rest ;)

Y'all got me feeling bad because I'm not there right now. It's freezing cold and rainy here in Virginia and I wish I was over there with a Presidente in my hand and a pretty girl in the other one by the waist........ well I'll settle for December and everyone having fun after wasting their doble sueldo on beer.

You had to rub it in, didn't you MQ? Hope you all have a great time. What ever happened to the Atl reunion jazzcom and AZB? It's really nasty weather here now so it will have to be indoors of course.

I was going to Atlanta to see family with my dad untill I looked at the calender for dates and I had a wedding on the 22nd of February. Going to Costa Rica on the 24th for a week and aint got the time otherwise.

I miss you already.

As MQ said, my wife and I, will definatly be there.
My wife is making me get a room, in 1 of the hotels and taking the next day off from work. ( Were going to get an early start on Valentine's Day!!!)

We really hope to meet some of the people who have guided us, on this board, there.

Also
My wife picked out some photos, which I up-loaded. As soon as there posted, you will be able to put a face to our names.

Slight change in hotel reservations...

I will be arriving in Sdo. Dgo. on the 13th around 11:30 a.m., then off to the RENAISSANCE JARAGUA for that night...

They tell me check-in is at 3:00 p.m, that means that I might have a couple of hours to kill before I settle in my room...

Anybody free that day to do lunch, and then meet again at night for partying?

Jan and Pib...how about it? Lunch is on me!!! We could gossip for a while before the men get there....

Please advice...
