a few questions.
1- where is the closest casino?

2-how are the beaches & pools

3-how long by cab to altos de chavon?

we are going on march 15th to the 21st.

this is the first time in this location & we hope it is like the rest of the country.this will be the 16th time to the DR

Hi. I've never been there - but have a few suggestions which may help. As for the casinos, when we were booking our trip, we were sure to email all of the resorts and ask where the closest casino was and how far walking/driving, etc. Also, I'm sure there are some reviews on this site of your hotel, but if not, a site I found helpful was www.tripadvisor.com - - it lists anonomous and non anonomous reviews of TONS of hotels all over the world (including quite an impressive amout for the DR). The viva resorts in Bayahibe are excellent. The beach is one of the most beautiful in the country. The resort caters to mostly Europeans. Altos is just a short 10 minute cab ride and worth the trip. Teeth of the Dog golf course is about 20 minutes away. Have Fun!
