I have never stayed at the Cabanas but I've been many times at the bar closed the cabanas and seems like they're really nice. The beach is incredible and really quiet and around the area you have some nice spots you can visit. I lived in the island for two years and Miches areas is my favorite area ... you won't find too many tourist in that area ...
btw, you can also find Cabanas at Miches beach ...
