Do it Lina. I just posted that I wish I knew more or less what they mean. I can guess but yes post the words and meanings.

Like what's a "mama ?ema". I've never heard this till I read the other post.

They do not have to be raunchy words Joseito, just words that are "Dominican" in a funny way. I haven't said anything that has not being said here before or that is totally of the wall.

*Anna I send you an PM

Here's a favourite expression of my sister-in-law's:

Si ella me dec?a "toto", yo le dec?a "fu?".

(On how she never took any shit from her boss.)

ETA: Lina, are you sure it's ?ica? I could have sworn...BTW, this is embarrassing...What will HB think of me NOW?

I was just trying to remind myself. The last time we did this, the entire thread was deleted.

Here are some words:

moj?n; chiguete; churria; bellaco; arrecho.

If this gets too raunchy, it may get deleted.

Big deal! Let's play while we can...
(HAHA)

I love saying mamaita (sp???) - it just sounds so cool...

MamIndie, imagine the elite trying to translate "el pellejo de un cuero" to English. How would Tony say? It would probably sound like his translation of "ma?ana en la ma?ana."

I personally don't find "so called" dirty words offensive!

As long as they are not directed at someone,I see no need to delete the thread! CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC

Is it possible to put the meaning in English beside each word? I know some words don't translate well but it would give us a better idea.

My boss used to call people,"El hijo de la gran puta!"

and that was behind their back (when he hung up)after a 10 minute phone call and asking how was their wife, kids, negocios, and inviting them to dinner! CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCc
