Viva keeps on getting more of their management from Northeast Airlines. Yesterday it was the Chief Pilot and today an Exec VP. You want to see what a success NE was, check this forum out:

http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?threadid=84792

Their original L-1011 is still in Burkina Faso due to unpaid bills, including the crew.

THE AUXER GROUP, INC. (OTCBB:AXGI - News) announced today that Eric F. Paillet has been appointed as Executive Vice President of its Viva Airlines, Inc subsidiary.
Mr. Paillet is an experienced aviation executive having recently served as President of NEA Holdings, Northeast Airline Services, Inc., Northeast Airlines, Ltd and International Aero Resources, Inc. In addition, Mr. Paillet has held additional executive and management positions with International Aviation Alliance, Inc., Aviation Systems International, Inc. and Business Express, Inc.-The Delta Connection.

OK, you wait. Fruit doesn't fall far from the tree... if they did a poor job at NE, what makes you think they'll be any better at Viva? The guy who sold NE their original L-1011 is also the same one behind the Viva L-1011 and the Fina Air DC-9s, so that makes three - three's a charm!

Is seems like there were two sides to that story, Even the one pilot said he thought NE management was ok.. Sounds like a he said/she said type of thing by some disgruntled people.

That same 3rd party represented NE Airlines, it has some of the same NE management and same NE aircraft. NE got into some trouble so they switch certificates to using Viva...

The fact that they've had their L-1011 parked in Burkina Faso due to unpaid fuel bills suggests this isn't exactly a smooth operation. Also, read the forums... unpaid crew members, no transportation home, etc., that breaks several labor laws - at least in the US.

Not switch certificates in the literal term, rather, instead of putting 3D-NEG on NE's certificate they'll put it on Viva's or Queen's, whomever...

He being at BEX doesn't add a whole lot. Most of BEX management, except for station management, never went over to Eagle.
