And to keep it in perspective....

It is $5 one way, $10 round trip and on full fare trips.

Not a big deal.

I doubt 1% of people here or tourists in general pay unrestricted full fare to the DR.

I pay for J now and then when the advance booked fares are not better by a lot, like Xmas.
