Auxer Group Releases Update on Viva Operations and Acquisitions

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 3, 2003--The Auxer Group, Inc. (OTCBB:AXGI - News) today released information updating the status of operations and acquisitions.
Accordingly, the Company announced the following updated information on its Viva Airlines, Inc:

1). Oscar Hasan, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, has appointed
a 5 member outside advisory committee comprised of New York City
area travel associations to assist in strategic market planning
for the Caribbean, Central and South America.

2). The advisory committee's recommendation is to start airline
service for New York to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic within
the first 2 weeks of July. Initial air services will be contracted
to an unrelated United States carrier. Contracts binding the
sub-service arrangement are scheduled for closing in mid-June.

3). Viva will begin providing airline passenger and cargo services
from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to Caracas, Venezuala and Sao
Paulo, Brazil beginning July 15, 2003 under a code share agreement
with a Brazilian air carrier.

4). Pursuant to the start up of air services from New York and Punta
Cana, Viva has issued purchase orders for ticket stock, baggage
tags, boarding passes and ticket jackets.

5). Viva has recently opened an office at the Jet Center at Fort
Lauderdale International Airport for use as an operational and
administrative center.

6). Viva has issued a letter of intent to acquire a 49% interest in
Tropical Air International of St Kitts. and Nevus. The only asset
of Tropical is a Category 2 certificate. The certificate will be
held in escrow until closing which is scheduled for June 9, 2003.
The purpose of the certificate is to open flight service access to
former British colonies as well as the United Kingdom.

7). Auxer has reached agreement to acquire a 45% interest in Northeast
Bolivian Airways Ltd. This agreement will provide for the
development of the 129 Category 1 certificate. Northeast Bolivian
is not currently operational. The purpose of this certificate is
to open flight service access to South America.

8). Viva has agreed to acquire 9 DC 9-32's as needed from Mojave Jet
under a financing facility arrangement provided by Cherokee
Transportation Group. The DC 9's will be introduced into the
operations of Viva, Tropical and Northeast Bolivian on a scheduled
basis.
