Since my novia had never been to the north coast and I had been in NY for almost a month, I took her up north for the weekend last week.
We stayed at Eddy's Condos Dominicanos. We watched the boxing match at eddys bar. Hung out a bit a Cafe Cito. Ate some ribs at Rockys, where we met Marco and Ted.
We also did the teleferico, and visited the Fortaleza San Felipe. I'll post short videos of that shortly.
On Monday, which was the day before the world championships of Kite Surfing, we hung out on Kite Beach in Cabarete, and watched the action. I also shot some video, which is not so easy! Standing in the surf, with strong winds, camera zoomed in all the way, and the tide pulling the sand out from under my feet!
