Actually, AirCanada has been flying down to POP every Saturday for quite some time now. I used them on my last trip (early August) and it was great. Bigger plane, better seats, better service, and even more luggage allowance. You have to purchase the tickets thru a travel agency because it's actually AirCanada Vacations that is selling the tickets. Price was even better than the other companies.

Maryanne mentioned the most important service feature Air Canada has to offer for myself and that is the HUGE weight allowance. The others are so tight on weight that you can hardly take anything extra anymore. Like many other people, only a small portion of my luggage is for my use, the rest is for people who live there.
I have flown twice this year YYZ to POP on AC. I highly recommend AC for travel to the R.D.
