is Lan Dominicana alive?

It seems that LAN Dominicana has no idea what is promotion, they have no publicity at all, not a bit.

All its plans to bring A320 in October were just another myth. 3 flights per week on a route where the biggest carrier operates 4 daily flights, come on. And take a look at their schedule, it is not comfortable for people who start their travel in SDQ, who want to leave SDQ at 6 PM to arrive at night to MIA, who wanna lose a day? There is no progress at all in LAN, it is gonna be like Aerocontinente. Passengers don't even know that LAN Dominicana exist, they won't promote its services, what a pity.

Facts

I know for a fact that they are doing better than expected. They already had some flights at full load, and load factor above average. And the bottom numbers are better than expected. You can quote me for a source. Promotion and advertisement are coming, just wait.

speaking of LAN, they will operate only 2 flights per week in NOV, so it doesn't seem that they are doing that fine, take a look at their winter schedule:

AND i'VE HEARD THAT FEW TIMES LAN DOMINICANA HAD SOME SERIOUS DELAYS DUE TO LATE ARRIVE OF THE AIRCRAFT TO MIA FROM SCL.

Well, on their website they are scheduled and fares are published MWF through next year (I don't know what makes you think they are going to reduce their flights on the HOLIDAY SEASON). And since we are on the hearing rumor business, look for the addition of the Sunday flight. Time will tell.

These are the first and last week of november. Downloaded from Galileo. Schedule looks normal, and unless Galileo have a really big lag from the other systems, flights still show as published.

yes, u r right, my mistake. Somehow I didn't notice that this wednesday fight is published separatley in timetable as for 29 OCT - 19 NOV. Since it used to be presented entirely as 1*3*5** before, when I've seen 1****5** and **3*** separately beginning NOV I thought they will not serve it, I forgot that the period I requested was NOV 27, that's why I haven't seen that part. sorry
