Today Aeromar had a following performance:

BQ 808 STI NYC 727 0921 1322
BQ 809 NYC STI 727 1427 1935

BQ 903 NYC SDQ 727 1540 1858

Aeromar is doing much better now, they don't have at least stop in STI on its SDQ NYC flight.

Their timetable to USA now is as follows:

BQ 903 NYC SDQ 727 1330 1700 1*3**6*
BQ 902 SDQ NYC 727 0800 1130 **3*5*7

BQ 202 SDQ MIA 727 1215 1430 1*3*5*7
BQ 201 MIA SDQ 727 0900 1115 1*3*5*7

BQ 808 STI NYC 727 0900 1230 1*3*56*
BQ 809 NYC STI 727 1400 1730 ****567

This schedule is very strange.

Schedule will return back to normal

The 737-400 is no longer coming on October 6th, they preferred to wait 9 more days and get the 757 on October 15th....

After October 15th, schedule will return back to normal.

Negativity,Negativity,Negativity,Negativity with you... Jeez...

Their schedule was messed up because, as stated, the contract with the 757 was up so it got returned... Yet new arrangements have been made, and another 757 will commence on Oct 15.

let's sit and wait. this myth about end of contracts looks so funny, it seems that those planes are extremely needed to save the planet, they are no longer available for lease and there were no more 757 and 767 in this world when the contract "expired". Well, this is still virtual airline's style. Maybe Aeromar's managers need to find out about ILFC and other companies, let's show them how to lease, but they have to find MONEY FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!

Samana:

one thing i'm certain that the only way AEROMAR is going to get airplnes from AIR ATLANTA back is if they pay all the money they owe them or if they negotiate the (AOC) airline operating certificate inliew of payment which is what is going on right now.

Christian,m actually those are only plans, remember that VIVA planned to bring already like 15 types of different planes, but plans are just plans. Right now Aeromar owes a lot of money to planes owner, they cancelled flights to Cuba, as I stated here last months flights to HAV for Aeromar are not profitable, this market will never accept BQ or another carrier from here. Since majority of passengers are from Cuba to DR they will never chose another carrier than CU, nationalist thing, and majority of dominican passengers from here are handeled by Emely Tours, and they are Cubana's long time friend. There are zillion another factors about SDQ HAV route, many passengers are flying via HAV to another points, also CU brings some passengers from Latin America via HAV to SDQ, so it is not that easy. And remember that airline needs a lot of time to promote new destinations, they have to spend so much money flying almost empty first months, this is how it works. And another problem that Aeromar's managemente had is to fly everywhere possible. Everybody knew that there is no demand to fly to HAV, but they decided to fly there just to fly somewhere.

I don't know what will happen to Aeromar now, if they prefer to be seasonal airline, to operate flights only during high season and the rest of the time use Falcon's 727 to fly SDQ STI NYC they will achieve negative image among passengers. Each day now causes terrible damage to their image, each delay and additional stop in STI will take away hundreds of future passengers.

Unfortunately Aeromar's diagnosis is THE LACK OF STRATEGY.
