Any kids in the DR have Pokemon cards?

I'm looking for any names that are either translated into Spanish, or really popular with Spanish-speaking kids.
One of my students wants a Pokemon name, and he's learning Spanish. It would be different if I were teaching him Japanese.
BTW, Pokemon is English to Japanese: pocketmonster...
