Dredging and arrests in Boca Chica...

Today's (October 27) DR1 News reports that the owner of the Boat House in Boca Chica was arrested, and several businesses there were closed down, presumably for their involvement with dredging of the beach. Can anyone provide more specific information? Thanks!

Without commenting on anyone's level of involvement or innocence, the Boat House restaurant's beachfront is not quite big enough to accommodate a Mitsubishi Montero jeepeta. At higher tides or during rains like the past week, the Boat House is at risk to become a boat. These circumstances would constitute motive in certain situations.

Is this the place while facing the beach all the way on the left where you have to WADE through the water to get there? It has been losing beach for a while now and must be killing business if it is. Poor guy!
