Aeromar retomar? vuelos diarios a NY


Santo Domingo. La aerol?nea dominicana Aeromar retomar? su frecuencia de vuelos diarios a Nueva York a partir del 21 de noviembre.



Ejecutivos de la empresa han asegurado que la reducci?n obede a una restructuraci?n por cambio de temporada. Mientras, fuentes del sector y empleados de las terminales a?reas aseguraban que la empresa pasaba por dificultades econ?micas. Hace menos de dos meses tuvo que devolver por falta de pago dos boeings que hab?a arrendado a Island Air y Air Atlanta.

Los problemas econ?micos que afront? la aerol?nea casi la obligaron a abandonar la terminal 1 del aeropuerto John F. Kennedy y mudarse a la 4, en Nueva York, debido a pagos atrasados. Finalmente, pudo llegar a un acuerdo.

About T1,T4 Aeromar have Manual system and T1 wants that Aeromar need to automate it to an Automatic system!

Deal! It is Automated and have paid more then 80% of the transacctions!

En la actualidad, la empresa vuela a ese destino los lunes, mi?rcoles, viernes y s?bado y combina sus operaciones desde la terminal de Santo Domingo y la de Santiago


En realidad impresa Aeromar no vuela a ningun lado.

I hope Aeromar will drop Miami-Santo Domingo route!

Or they need to fly as early in B767-300ER on a daily basis

BQ907 JFK 07:00 - 10:30 SDQ
BQ202 SDQ 12:00 - 14:00 MIA
BQ201 MIA 16:00 - 18:00 SDQ
BQ908 SDQ 19:30 - 23:00 JFK

i think on these schedules will be no problem, now woth the new system and good on -time performance that Aeromar have (as last summer) it will be no problem to operate the flights normally.

But these itinerary is not one that they can load the aircrfat on these times, the best is 08:00AM departing from SDQ and continue their plans in B737-300 to Miami also for San Juan

That's a good plan as long as you don't have a breakdown because if you do taking into consideration 50% load factor you'll have nearly 600 passengers either delayed or cancelled.


As far as the 737-300 give it up you very well know that's not happening unless it comes from Air Atlalnta.

Air Atlanta Icelandic has bought 49% stake of Aeromar. They have done this so that they can get out the money that Aeromar owes them, and of course to make some money. By doing this they are getting almost 50% of the money that Aeromar makes.

Even though this has not being said yet, but it will come out to the light soon.

Aeromar is planning to get 2 757's in Nov, 2 767 in December and 2 747's in the middle of December. I am very amazed 747, in my opinion that plane is very expensive to operate, and yes it has A LOT of space for cargo, luggage, and pax.

One of the items i am very happy that Air Atlanta BUYS 49% of Aeromar, that will say that Aeromar have no debts and as i say buy 49% of the airline! Air Atlanta can administrate Aeromar how belongs to do!

Maybe Air Atlanta put 1 B757 for MIA and SJU

Air Atlanta see in Aeromar a big interest, they had totally no interest in Nigeria Airways when the airline can not pay the leased aircrafts B767-200 Air Atlanta have returned the aircraft to their base!

In this case Air Atlanta is interested, Aeromar en DR market!

That's great, an awfull lot of airplanes but it's great i guess American better watch out now Aeromar is coming!!!

Air Atlanta should buy 51% so the can be 100% of control of Aeromar....49% aeromar still have the veto.

B757-225

the new aircraft for Aeromar will be a B757-225ER former Air2000 aircraft, Air Atlanta have leased this aircraft from CIT for Aeromar Lineas Aereas Dominicanas. the registration will be TF-ARK (former reg. G-OOOM)

While you are correct Dominican regulations prohibit a foreing owner to have majority stake in a Dominican company, according to CAB that is but eve them always manage to find a way around those sort of minor details.
