can you have fun in Punta Cana?

I am still waiting on someone to tell me if there is funto be had inn punta Cana. My husband and I are wondering what there is to do around Bavaro Beach, this is our firdst visit to DR, my first time leaving Canada.

You can have fun................

Eating, drinking, dancing, swimming, sunning, para-sailing, boating, bowling, jeep safari's, sight seeing, shopping, diving, fishing, tennis, horseback rides, atv tours, golfing, swim with dolphins, gambling, helicopter rides, explore caves, sleep under a palm tree, and invest in real estate. every one is talking about the north coast or Santo Domingo, it is nice to know you can have fun in Punta Cana as well, and I hear the beaches are nicer!

ps. has anyone heard anything abot mangu disco, captain cooks or the jelly fish?

Mangu is probably the most crowded disco in Punta cana it is pretty good (young crowd) Capt Cooks is way overpriced go elsewhere

Where to go?

Basiclly what i am looking for is an answer to where to go , is Mangu a disco worth going to, or is there another one, if Captain Cooks is over priced, then is there a different restaurant?

Mangus is worth the time it is a crowded disco with locals and turists alike you should have fun there. Another rest I'm not to sure I didnt go out to eat much there, but Capt cooks is a rip off.
