Video to disc?

Is it possible to copy a VCR video to a disc to see on the computer? And where can I have this done here in Santo Domingo? I have some videos of my son I want to make sure that I can keep them forever and now worry about tape rot.

Jan, I can definitely do this for you. It will have to be next trip though. I need to get a new laptop, and set up my editing software. I can most likely also make a DVD you can watch as well.

So if you can wait, I'll give ya a buzz and we'll eat some hot wings and convert some video!

Ladies and Gents,
I have a VHS Video tape I wish converted to DVD. Is there anyone who knows where I can have this done commercially. I am told there is a place on Bolivar/bella vista West of Churchill in Santo Domingo but cannot locat it. I do not know the name? Thanks
