I am about due for one of my semi-annual visits to Boca Chica and was thinking a week or so somewhere between the 10th and 20th. Are there any national holidays or general strikes etc. that I should plan my travel days around?
In February, we have Friday, 27 February coming up as a holiday- long weekend.
Track record of strikes means that at the most you will spend the day or two at your hotel or in the town where it is located -- with some excursions suspended. Many areas will not even notice the strike. Check in with the message board to get a grasp of what's going on in future days. Not a reason to suspend a holiday.
