Remember, this site is about the DR, posts need a VERY strong DR bias otherwise the thread will be closed or deleted.

That being said...

Invest in what? Property? Business? Land?
Try and be specific, this will help people give valuable answers.

Have you ever been to any of the countries you listed?

My 2 pesos...

Cuba - Not sure. Not a great deal of info on investing in Cuba about.

Haiti - You gotta be kidding. Maybe when it calms down a little.

Panama - Not sure, appears a popular destination right now.
Take a good look at http://www.escapeartist.com for more info on Panama.

That leaves the DR. If you can't find the answers on this site, they don't exist :)

Thanks Robert for your help!

I mean business investment, I never been in Cuba or Panama not even in Touristic area of Haiti.

About the Dominican Rep. Investing in Business I was not sure because I am Dominican but don't have many knowledge about business specially how is the economy there now, thats why I wanted to hear your or other peoples opinion.

Sorry for not being directly with my point and thanks again for your answer. that link that you sent me is enough

Thank you.

Forget Cuba, any business needs 50% ownership for a state owned company and they will not invest any money for this share. But they supply land at over-inflated prices or something worthless. Then they also want to have a big say in the running of the company, but the guy in charge will always change and the new guy won't know whats going on.

I wouldn't touch Haiti with a 10foot pole.

Can't speak for Panama, but I would assume similar to the DR.
