The system is the same a the U.S. system, 110 V when there is electricity. A one outlet (travel) surge protector is helpful, provided the service outlet is grounded.
Most resorts have 24/7 power, public and with own backup. Public locations as of this date are averaging up to 14 hrs without electricity.
