I thought up one for us DR1ers to amuse ourselves with, to distract a little from the current trials and tribulations.

Yes: the Baninter "Todas las posibilidades" Award for advertising slogans that mean so much more than they intended!

My nominations:

PRD Hipolito - Aun nos falta mucho por hacer

Supermercado La Cadena - precios que hacen historia

Let's have yours, and I'll introduce a second category for the benefit of our members outside the DR:

Think up an original slogan for:

The Dominican postal service
The Electricity companies
Concho drivers
Money changers

- and whoever else comes to mind -

... the jury's decision will be final ... no extra points for pretty frocks ....

Resurrecting this as my attempt to compete with Oscar night.

I would like to nominate a PLD hoarding I saw today:

"Ponte en fila con Leonel"

"Get in line with Leonel"

It makes me think of people lining up to claim their slice of the pie. :ermm:
