Could you both post the source (online or offline) for this information? Thank you.

Credible sources from these two, you jest. Now everyone will get all excited about Jet Blue and they won't come.

Not the most convenient flight times. If you go to jetblue.com and give them your email address, they'll notify you when tickets go on sale.

This timetable is a good timetable, Aeromar have used this timetable and has it flights with a 100% occupancy on Summer (High) Season.

I think later JetBlue will change his timetable.

Maybe the return flights will be depart around 7 to 8 am and arriving on DR around 10 a 11pm

I don't care what times they use, at least we know they have a very good track record unlike some other airlines that are no longer with us.

flight times

Those flight times will work for those of us that have to drive six hours or so to the airport to begin our journey.
When should we find out if they have approval? When will the first tickets go on sale?

JetBlue, New York's low-fare carrier . . .

JetBlue Seeks Authority To Provide New International Service To The Dominican Republic

Low-fare Carrier Proposes New Daily Nonstop Flights from New York to Santo Domingo and Santiago in Filing with the U.S. Department of Transportation(1)

- NEW YORK, March 8, 2004 - (PRIMEZONE) -- JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq:JBLU), New York's low-fare carrier, today requested authority from the U.S. Department of Transportation to provide international service, including nonstop service to the Dominican Republic. Pending approval from both governments, the proposed service from John F. Kennedy International Airport would operate with twice daily service to Santiago, starting June 10, 2004, and a daily flight to Santo Domingo, starting June 17, 2004.(1)

The Dominican Republic service would continue the carrier's expansion in the Caribbean following the start of service to San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2002 and new flights to Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, starting on May 27, 2004. This summer, JetBlue will serve the JFK-San Juan route with six flights per day. . .

I dont know how these new airlines totaly new in the DR will survive, Who will the Sales agent be, Delta Air Lines have requested Air Santo Domingo to be their GSA in the DR, and as JetbLue was talking with Air Santo Domingo about a possible take over dont know hat ASD will do they also have own flights on the same route, after a decision to continue flights to New York from Santo Domingo.

Also North American is uprgrading and increasing flights, JFK to SDQ 5 weekly (B767 and B757) JFK to STI 6 weekly B767 and B757

No more then a battlefield.

AA 4 daily AB6 (1000 seats a day) one way
DL 2 daily B757 (370 seats a day) one way
EX(B6) 1 daily B757/A320 (190 seats a day) one way (OP by JetBlue/TMA)*
B6(EX) 1 daily A320 (130 seats a day) one way ) *
NA 5 weekly B767/B757(+/- 200 seats a day)

CO 2 daily B764/B738 (+/- 460 seats a day

Daily a average from New York to Santo Domingo = 2800 seats a day

* under project...

Aleluya, m?s competencia+l?neas a?reas s?lidas - monopolio = mejores precios

Hope Jet Blue is flying to the D.R. by this coming summer when i'm planning to go.
