Weather in Jarabacoa

Sometimes May is a rain filled month, but the last few times i was there in April(1999, 2002,2003) the weather was great, approximately 20-22 C at night and 24-26 C during the day. You will find the air clean and fresh, compared to the Coast.

Take the online weather forecasts with a grain of salt. Remember this is the Caribbean, and scattered showers lasting less than 10 minutes are the norm. It is unusual that rainstorms last all day, although this is more likely on the north coasts than on the south or east coasts.

My wife, who is from Jarabacoa, says: La Vega is always hotter than Jarabacoa and usually doesn't get quite as much rain, You are correct about the rain though, usually doesn't last more that an hour at worst although this past summer it rain for 2 days solid.
