Anyone going to Gran Ventana Hotel or Playa Dorada resort ?

Hi hi!

I (29) and my boyfriend (28) are going to Gran Ventana Hotel in begining of june for 2 weeks. This will be our first visit to carabian and we are looking forward going there it will be very different from our contry Iceland. I was wondering if anyone else were going there at the same time.
It would be greate to hook up with somewone......have a beer or taking trips together....etc. :)

we are going to gran ventana the 10 days before june .we get there on may 20 and leave on the 29th .you will love the island we have been there 21times not the same hotel all the time .we are from NYC and the island is a very big change for us. have fun

I will be in the hotel next to you the same time you are there, however i dont know the exact date we are going to be arriving yet.

I should find out in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully England will do well in Euro 2004 and it will be a perfect hol!

I have been hearing some bad things..... :pirate:
Like if anyone want?s to go to a pub outside the Hotel, a guard has to escort him because of the high rate of crimes.....well I don?t know if this is true :paranoid: I sure hope not!

No, next time will be my 7th. Don't worry about going outside the resort, i obviously dont know who you heard that from, but it is really wrong. I am sure loads of members will be be telling you the same aswell.

You are close enough to get taxis to Puerta Plata, Sosua and Cabarete, you can have fun in all these places!

I nearly booked it today but we might have to wait a few more days first.
