Hurricane Mitch (last year)

Hi,

Last year the hurricane Mitch came over the DR. We go in august to Boca Chica and I wonder if there are still broken palm trees or whatever because of Mitch?

It was Hurricane Georges and things are pretty much back to normal.

There is little or no evidence a storm has passed through. Only a vacant lot here and there with downed trees. Some things a better, such as new utility poles and signs.

There was very little palm tree damage in Boca Chica to begin with. The palm trees are the best at withstanding storms. Any palms that were blown off have long since grown back.
