Last time in the DR I got bit by a Striped Yellow and Black insect, it looked like a wasp but was about an inch to an inch and half long. It just latched on to me and kept biting and IT REALLY HURT!!!!!!!!! a patch the size of baseball swelled up and i was limping for the next couple of days.
(not intending to put you guys off the DR with horroh stories about insects ha ha)
Does anyone know what it was? and how can I avoid getting bitten by the horrible little critters.
