Tropical depression has formed near the island of Grenada with winds of about 35 mph. Presently moving toward the west about 22 mph. The track currently being projected show the weather system staying in the Caribbean passing the DR far enough to the south so that we won't be affected much.

Also, there now is a tropical storm Bonnie, but it is presently 410 miles off the mouth of the Mississippi River, well away from the Dominican Republic.
