Hi, I'm going there next week and have a few questions.

1. What do adults and kids wear for dinner ??
(i.e. are pants and shoes required)

2. Are there tennis courts ? If so, is it too hot to play ??

3. Is the electrical outlet in the bathroom same as U.S. ??

Thank you.

1- anything but naked unlesssssssssss

2- Yes depends

3-Yes

We have been there 6 or 7 times and LOVE the place!! Please do yourself a favor and leave the resort for awhile and see Puerto Plata, Sosua, and Cabarette. Enjoy the good food at some of the local restaurants and meet some of the friendly Dominican people!! You will be glad you did!!

1. The mostly pants, but some kids wear shorts. Shoes are requried, but flip flops or sandals are o.k as well.

2. Yes there are tennis courts, as well as a tennis instructor. The weather, well it's humid himis, and I personally don't like running around a court in that sort of weather, but to each their own! :)

3.The electrical outlets are the same as ours US and Canada) as well they have a hairdryer. So you don't need to pack extra weight!

I go to the Coral Marien 3-4 times a year, and love it there, if you have any q's let me know....lisa_robinson24@hotmail.com :bunny:

Glad to see 2 of my coral friends replied to your question!
Marien is a laid back, casual resort. choice is yours-dress-up or dress-down. wear whatever you're comfortable with. there is also an iron in your room so you can do some "touching up" if need be. relax, have fun and enjoy your stay.--judi
