In the Puerto Plata, Sosua, area (North Coast) there is no hand delt poker that I have seen. I did see a Hold-um table in the American Casino, Playa Dorado, but on numerous visits have never seen a game in progress!

There are 2 Holdem games in Santiago.

One at the Gran Almirante
One at the Matum

IMHO the game at the Gran Almirante is better. It is run
by an ExPat or at least it was 5 weeks ago when I was there.

Now that I think about it I saw a game at the Casino next to the
Jaragua in Santo Domingo. I think Melia? Not sure though. I past thru
and saw a full holdem table on a saturday night.

The best you are probably going to get is Caribbean Stud or Draw Poker. I have never seen Texas Hold em or Omaha played in DR.

You and your friends may want to consider staying in Sosua. I have read your other posts and it has everything you are looking for.
