OUr family is close to locking in a deal for a trip in Febuary. We have traveled quite a bit and found these discussion boards so very helpful. Likely to go to Playa naco -- yes we know it is not 5 star but enjoy combing the AI with our saving to go to a 3 star and more trips within. This time we are traveling with my 70 year old in-laws. Here are my questions:
1) We love to snorkle --is all the snorkeling only accessible by boat.
2) Besides the inland Monster truck are there any other day trips trips recommended?
3) Our travel agent and the web pages have a huge varience in cost of day such as the Monster trucks, water park etc - Am I better off booking on line or waiting til I get there.
4) we are leaning from going to snorkeling to scuba -- 10 and 14 year old -- safety is key any recommendations,
5) My kids are nightowls and social animals but are they welcome to any of the nitelife?? Not the casinos -but I think they would love a disco --dancing club!
6) Anyone familiar with Naco -- is there a certain room (preferably facing the ocean) that we should ask for??
