Travelling from Santo Domingo to Cabarete

Hi everyone,

Myself and 2 friends are coming to Santo Domingo in November and we want to know the cheapest way of travelling to the North of the island (Cabarete)?

I've looked on the Caribe Tour website and it's under construction so I'm hoping some of you guys out there can help me? Is flying from SDQ a possibility - in which case do you know much it costs?

Any info gratefully received

Some basic questions

1) Where are you all comming from??

2) Why not book a flight to Puerto Plata or Santiago?

3) If you have to go to Santo Domingo, there are Caribe buses to that "area" from 6:00 a.m. to late afternoon, around 5 or 6 p.m. Just about every half hour. Some of them will go to Cabarete and some of them will just go to Sosua, but it is a cheap taxi ride over to Cabarete and just 10 minutes away.
