Hi !

As a new member to dr1, I'd like to thank all for the informative posts. I plan on being in Santo Domingo the first weekend in November to see Paul Oakenfold and Sandra Collins (dj's) at the Party Perfecto performance at The River. Would anyone have information on the venue location and surounding area?

The parties and la marina del rio are really cool.
Its in the outskirts of the city. Its kinda hard explaining how to get there since the street names in the area are virtually unknown except to those who live there.
THe marina is nothing big (actually its just some boats stored near the river and a ramp to get'em in or out) is in the outskirts of Arroyo Hondo (a neighborhood kinda built in the margings of Sto Dgo) I used to live near by before and it was very peaceful. The river and the place are very nice. Feels kinda rural and far away from everything(it actually is). Great for parties so, Enjoy!!
