Taxi from Santiago?

I fly into Santiago and have to get to Las Terrenas to my hotel. I thought I could get some kind of charter flight, but no one in answering my emailed inquiry at the website advertising this. Is taxi an option? Any idea how much? The bus system seems a little complicated.

no idea where las terrenas is, but 4 months ago I took a 3hr + taxi from santiago to boca chica for $30 US.
