Not in the time being...

hey Jersey.......
As of right now, there is not a 2nd flight for continental to STI... but they are using the 767-200 wich has been used since the last week of october....

wanted to point out that JetBlue for the time being has the evening flight for december.... the morning one is not on the STI december schedule as of yet........

Busy December here in STI man..... caribbean sun is flying a Dash 8 (37pax) to SJU (don`t know the frecuency of the flight yet) and American Eagle will have 3 to 4 SJU/STI/SJU flights DAILY

and we will have A-300 to throw a party with... 5 on Saturdays, 4 rest of the days

SALUDOS!!!!!!

Well.....

Basically Civil Aeronautics is the one who issues the right for u to land in a Dominican Airport, and like u say the money they pay it varies depending on the time that they are given to use that permit.... imagine, Aeromar still has it`s landing permit up to date.

On the other hand the airline has to pay the Airport the landing fees and user fees that each airport has......

Someone that works in Civil Aeronautics may help u better in that sense...

Hope i was of some assistance
