I need help with the following phrases:

If somebody told you this then you need help with more than the phrases.

The first line would be someting along the lines of:

"we got a real mess here, and I don't mean like a messy closet"

the rest are along the same lines but with differrent words for "mess" or tight situation.

"a mess that is not of clothes"
"a hook and it is not of wire"
"a disorder and not of people"

The direct translations are somewhere between nonsensical and unimpressive, but in dominican culture thay have meaning that derives more from context and repetition than the meaning of the words.

Similar to country redneck sayings like:

"slicker than catshit on a lenolium floor"

you can translate it, but "slick" doesn't have the same double meaning in spanish.
