travel from Haiti to DR

I have to make a trip to Port au Prince within the next few weeks to finalize an adoption, however afterwards I would like to stay in DR for a few days.Are there any flights direct from Haiti over to DR; I am not willing to fly AA back to Miami and then over to DR!

I don't know the details or even if this flight is still going. I seem to remember that SkyKing out of Providenciales (Turks and Caicos) sometimes went to Port au Prince and then hopped down to Puerto Plata. Perhaps other posters have better suggestions or information. I also know that tour busses run between the DR and Haiti... I seem to think that both the tour busses and the flights have been discussed on the forum so, perhaps a search is in order.

I think that AirCaraibe has flight between Port au Prince and Santo Domingo.

From Portillo to Port Au Prince

There is a travel agency here that posts flights to P au Prince. There are many French tourists here - I doubt, somehow, that these are for the Haitian gardeners. I will check the rates and get back to you. Elizabeth
