We are moving to the Dominican Republic (Cabarete) in March and are trying to find out what the best way is to move some things into the country. We already heared that most of the times the taxes over shipping your things are very high. Can anybody tell us on how much we have to count approximately for about 8 m3 (furniture, etc.)?
If shipping our stuff is too expensive, we will bring only a few personal things by plane (cargo). Does anyone know if you also have to pay taxes over this?
