Any suggestions on good Dominican literature for children. Either in English or Spanish? I'm looking for books that speak about the Folklore and history of the Dominican Republic that may be geared towards children.
The only thing I've found so far is The Secret Footprints by Julia Alvarez.

Please help!
Thanks

If you are in NYC I would contact the Caliope bookstore in Dyckman.
Or call them up regardless. Jimenez can give you the guidance you seek.

Thank you so much for the information. I will definitely give them a call. Unfortunately I'm not in New York, but hopefully I'll be able to find some of the suggestions given.
Thanks again.
