Tuesday, Dec. 7. The was a little fire around 3 pm at Punta Cana airport, PUJ. It was not a big deal, thank the Lord for that. As observed by PJT It did not visibly disrupt airport activities. The AA flight PJT was waiting for arrived during this event and all passengers were processed into the country as if nothing unusual had happened.
It appears to have been a fire in the ca?a over the administration and office suites at the airport. The airport fire department was quick to act to extinguish the blaze. The amount of water used to put down the blaze could not be directed away from the building by the downspouts fast enough and at least one location on the terminal floor in front of the ticketing area there was a pool of water.
News does travel fast? As PJT was departing the airport, the prensa (press) van was right ahead of him.
