How Long does a it take for a Dominican to Get a Passport?

You can get one in one day with the proper papers. For one-day service you have to pay 500 RD extra plus the usual fee. I am not sure of the fee, I think around 400 RD plus the 500 extra.

The problem will not be getting the PassPort the problem will be getting the Visa you may need to go to another Pias. The cost and length of time to get a PassPort are reasionable if you have the proper back-up papers, getting a Visa to most European Nations or the US is a different matter. There are a Few about 15 or so places you can go with only a PassPort but they are not the Major destinations for most people. The time, cost and restrictions to travel in these major destinations can be quite formitable. It would be best to look into these matters before making any plans. :glasses:
