When I went to the Bahamas I booked our the hotel through Hotwire.com - They had the best prices and it seemed unbeatable. When checking out of the hotel, I ended up paying about $100 additional at the hotel for 'hidden' charges that were not covered with Hotwire. After that I've been scared to book anything else online because of the additional costs that may arise.
Have any of you paid any additional charges for airline tickets, hotels or travel packages?
