LTU International Airlines will start as from 8 of June 2005 1 weekly service to Santo Domingo non stop from Zurich flights will be operated on Wednesday's on a A330-200, schedule will be publisched soon.

why santo Domingo and not to one of the tourist meccas

just curious as to why service to SD...when most of the tourism is in Punta Cana,Puerto Plata,La Romana areas?
or do the swiss fly thousands of miles to go to Boca chica and Juan dolio?
