Sorry if this has been answered before, but a search turns up nothing.

In early April we (7 adults) are flying into Santiago on the 2am JetBlue flight. We want to get to Las Terrenas ASAP -- so two questions:

1. What's the fastest way to get to Las Terrenas? Since there are 7, would we have to arrange 2 charter flights? Are there charter flights in the middle of the night or do we have to wait til sunrise? Are there benefits to taking the bus instead?
2. What should we do in Santiago at 2am? Hang out in the airport? Find a cheap hotel? Are bars open? we'll be on pacific time, so pulling an all-nighter isn't out of the question.

Thanks in advance!

I flew out at 3am. First we had dinner near the monument, only 10 minutes away. Most places close after 4am. Then we crashed at a cabana for 4 hours. You can choose from a dozen or more.
